Description:

The 2.1 Qt - 2 Lts Tagine is ideal for 4.6 servings. It can be used in the oven or microwave and on any stovetop thanks to the new ceramic technology for cooking on the stove or in the oven. The tagine is dishwasher safe and will not lose its colour over time. Thanks to the conical shape of the lid which allows the condensation to circulate and avoids the ingredients drying out during cooking, Emile Henry tagines offers gentle simmering for your meat, fish and vegetables. Let yourself be tempted by simple, flavoursome recipes: chicken and lemon tagine, sea bass tagine or even a vegetarian tagine. Let yourself go with your instincts, as the Moroccans do, and create your own recipes.

Preparation and cooking:

For best results, always start on a low heat.

Make sure there is always some liquid in your tagine when cooking. If necessary, add a small glass of water. The tagine steam-cooks the food, so keep the lid on during cooking.

A long cooking time on a low heat gives the best results. You can exceed the cooking time given in the recipes without any problem.

When cooking a tagine, always use a low temperature.

You can also use your tagine for other slow-cooked recipes such as ragouts, stews or steamed dishes.
