Le Souk clay pots and low-temperature slow cooking bring out incredible flavors in any dish, whether traditional or contemporary, and are easy and versatile to use. We're making our cookable tagines with a new, deeper base for large meals. The base of our 30cm (12") can fit a whole chicken or a tagine stew for four people and holds about 2.5 litres. Le Souk cookable Tagine is designed for stove-top use (gas or electric), but was traditionally used over charcoal. Because of clay cookware's sensitivity to high heat, we recommend using a diffuser and the low setting on your stove. Our Tagine can be used in the oven (350 degrees or lower, 175 Celsius), but usually without the lid this way to finish off or brown the meal. Made in Tunisia.
