The Viper Mathusalem is a champagne saber for the special occasions in life. The impressive and fascinating blade made of 4034 (see below) is deliberately not sharply sharpened, the hand guard including parry element is made of stainless steel. The handle is made of a solid piece of finely grained olive wood and is firmly and securely attached to the blade with polished screws. The decorative handle cord with tassel is kept in dark yellow to match the warm wood tone. The delivery takes place in a decorative solid wood box with certificate of authenticity.
4034 is a classic Solingen steel combining edge retention and corrosion resistance. It is also easy to sharpen. The German steel has a hardness of 54-55 HRC
