The V'spresso has rapid steam,
which eliminates the wait time between brewing and steaming and a
digital display that can be programmed in 8 different languages. The red
display provides ease of programming. The V'spresso also has adjustable
dosing and 18 grind fineness settings to control the strength of the
espresso. Each shot can be set to use between 6 and 9 grams of coffee,
depending on your liking. You can also use pre-ground coffee, instead of
the whole beans that are in the hopper, by using the bypass doser. New
features include long-life Stainless Steel boiler, metal Panerello
frother, illuminated push buttons and simplified menu programming.
At the touch of a button, the Saeco
V'spresso grinds each serving from whole bean, automatically dosing and
tamping the coffee, brewing through high-pressure extraction, and
dispensing into the cup from a height-adjustable outlet.
Used "coffee pucks" are ejected into an internal "dregs drawer", which
is accessed by opening the front door. The 2.0 liter water reservoir is
located at the back of the machine and is most easily accessed by
swiveling the V'presso round and lifting out.
The V' spresso's 2.0 liter water
reservoir can easily be refilled while it is still on the machine or by
removing it with the easy-grip handle and filling it at the kitchen tap.
The reservoir is made of clear ABS plastic so checking the water level
is a breeze. When the water runs low, the digital display will remind
you to refill the water reservoir.
V' spresso's red digital display visually
"talks "while brewing coffee. The display provides easy access to all
the machine's functions, including the option of brewing one or two cups
of coffee, the amount of coffee per cup, pre-brewing, pre-grinding and
an automatic rinsing and cleaning cycle. Truly an international machine,
the V'spresso can be programmed in one of eight different languages:
English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, or
Dutch.
More Features: The metal cup warmer plate
on top has a heater element inside that brings the surface temperature
up to 160F. It can be turned on/off. The bypass doser chute can be used
for adding ground decaf or sampling a new espresso blend. The conical
burr grinder has 18 different grind setting. Hot Water for tea, etc. is
available at the touch of a button. A handy built-in cycle counter keeps
track of the number of coffees made. The machine may be left on all day,
and an energy-saving feature keeps the machine ready to brew at a
moments notice. In addition, a programmable timer can be set to turn the
machine off anytime up to 12 hours after it was first turned on.
Maintenance: Keeping any Saeco super
automatic running smoothly is simple with the built-in reminders; it
actually takes the guesswork out of the routines. The V'spresso features
a patented and industry leading easy-to-remove coffee brewing group.
Numerous benefits include being able to quick-rinse the whole
coffee-brew assembly in the sink. This should be done about once a week
or each time the bean hopper is filled. With the included brew group key
the coffee screen can be removed periodically for a more thorough
cleaning. The V'spresso will advise when descaling is required . When
first setting up the machine, test the water that you will be using with
the included Water Hardness Strip and program the appropriate number
into the machine. There are two descaling programs available; one
automatic and one manual. The automatic cycle runs about 45 minutes.
Rapid Steam®
technology reduces the normal waiting time between coffee brewing and
steam output to just a few seconds, so you can make cappuccinos, lattes
and macchiato coffee at the simple turn of the steam wand.
Included accessories are a
coffee measure,
cleaning brush and a detail manual.
