Just touch the unique Saeco Digital ID fingerprint reader and it
automatically loads your personal user profile with your own name on the
display. 6 one-touch beverages that can be personalized by 6 user profiles
– every family member gets his or her favourite customized specialty. The
wide and easy-to-read display allows one-touch functionality and intuitive
handling.
The machine includes a special milk carafe
(capacity 50 oz) to whip the milk for your desired beverage. The milk
carafe with a built-in cappuccinatore hooks directly to the front of the
machine and automatically froths milk straight into your mug. You can
remove the milk container and store it in the refrigerator for your
convenience. Users can also manually steam milk using the steam wand/hot
water dispenser. The milk circuit is completely separate from the rest of
the machine so that no milk operations involve the internal machine
circuits. It results in quick and easy cleaning. An automated
steam-cleaning cycle keeps the machine perfectly clean.
The Saeco Xelsis Stainless Steel comes with

Steam® technology reduces the normal waiting time between coffee brewing

is a patented revolutionary Saeco technology, which allows you to prepare
2 cappuccinos or 2 latte macchiatos simultaneously. The Touch2Cappuccino®
system consists of a milk container placed directly inside the machine.
The milk is drawn from this container, frothed internally, and then
dispensed into the cup.

Multi-User, Multi-Function Controls
The Saeco Xelsis Super Automatic Coffee Center is the first of its kind to
feature fully customizable controls for up to 6 users. The color touch
panel allows each user to program their favorite drinks into each of the 6
one touch beverage buttons then choose a unique icon/avatar that commits
everything to memory for each person. That's a whopping 36 unique drinks
in one compact appliance. If you've ever stumbled to your espresso
machine, pushed your once-favorite button, and got some foreign drink, you
are going to love having your own user profile.
One Touch Cappuccino, Latte, and other Espresso Drinks
What is One Touch? Exactly what we mean. On the Saeco Xelsis, simply press
the animated color touch panel once and only once and it will dispense the
complete drink of your choice with no additional work done on your part.
If you want a cappuccino, the Xelsis will dispense the frothed milk
directly into your cup followed by freshly ground and brewed espresso. The
Xelsis then cleans its Italian brewing system by dumping the spent coffee
puck into a removable drawer and also its integrated milk container by
blasting a purge of steam and hot water into the drip tray. The
possibilities are endless and couldn't be easier.
Dual Milk Frothing Systems
The Saeco Xelsis debuts the very first fully automatic espresso machine
that satisfies both types of latte lovers: those who need One Touch
operation, and those who want the ultimate control. Other so-called luxury
systems saddle you into One Touch only, which is fine for most, but
typically restrictive for those who want the hottest milk or want to make
some latte art. To make an One Touch cappuccino or latte, simply press
your custom button and frothed or steamed (your choice) milk will
instantly dispense right into your cup, followed by espresso. The milk
container automatically cleans itself by purging with steam and hot water
right to the drip tray, and is refrigerator-safe. If you prefer to try
your hand at making microfoam for latte art (or just for hotter milk), you
can use the stainless steel steam wand at the left of the unit.
Customizable Italian Brewing System
Beginning with the award-winning Italian brewing system, the Saeco Xelsis
adds a number of tools to help you brew espresso to your precise taste.
The Saeco Brewing System (SBS) dial allows you to actually choose how much
flavor and aroma to extract during the brewing process by changing the
pressure, offering a nearly infinite drink menu. In addition, the standard
Saeco OptiDose® System allows you to adjust the amount of coffee to be
ground for each beverage, from 7 to 10.5 grams (mild to strong).
InstaSteam Stainless Steel Boiler
The power plant of the Saeco Xelxis is made of two stainless steel-lined
Thermo Block boilers, one for brewing and one for steam. Unlike a
traditional boiler, thermo blocks offer rapid warm-up times paired with
efficient, on-demand water usage. Turn on the Xelsis and it will be ready
to brew in just a few moments. The second InstaSteam boiler is always
ready for steam on unlimited steam on demand. Thermo Block technology
channels the water through the heating element while minimizing the amount
of water heated to what the user demands. This process ensures water does
not become stale sitting in a boiler for an extended period of time. In
addition, the Saeco Xelsis SS allows you to use the manual steam wand as a
dedicated spout for instant and piping hot water for tea and Americanos.
Ceramic Grinder with Bonus
The ceramic coffee grinder is one of Saeco's most unique innovations,
available EXCLUSIVELY in the latest generations of Saeco Super Automatic
Coffee Centers. After careful research, Saeco chose this material for the
Xelsis to put an end to grinding with metal components to ensure the best
results without altering the flavor of coffee. With 5 grind settings, you
are certain to be able to tune you Xelsis to both the freshness and roast
of many coffee blends (still not the super dark/oily ones). The Xelsis has
a 12 ounce bean hopper with an air tight lid for the bean hopper that
features a UV-filtering coating to keep your beans fresh for as long as
possible.
Automatic Pre-Infusion Brewing
The Xelsis incorporates the Saeco Aroma System to extract the full aroma
of coffee beans into every cup. A special pre-programmed step injects a
small amount of hot water into the freshly ground coffee to start a
pre-brewing process. The actual brewing cycle normally begins about 2
seconds afterward, allowing for enough time to fully saturate the grounds
and achieve maximum flavor. The Saeco Xelsis grants you the ability to
adjust the amount of pre-infusion time for that extra bit of tweakability.
Enjoy perfect espresso every time topped with golden crema that fills your
senses with the rich warm aroma of truly fine coffee, all in under 60
seconds.
Energy Saving And Automatic On/Off
Among the many features of the Saeco Xelsis is its ability save you money
in electricity costs. If you plan on using your Xelsis most of the day but
do not want to shut it off completely, set the energy saving mode activate
after a certain amount of time. When you are ready to brew espresso again,
it will turn on much more rapidly than it would from a cold start.
Brewing Pre-Ground Coffee
Do you want to try a decaf roast or perhaps a different blend without
having to empty your bean hopper? A lid on the top of the Xelsis can be
lifted to reveal an opening for ground coffee. Just choose the
"pre-ground" option on the touch panel, then deposit a scoop ground coffee
into the opening on top of the machine, then press the brew button. When
you are ready to brew again, the Xelsis resets to using the beans in the
hopper.
Water Filtration
The Saeco Xelsis can utilize the included Intenza water filter to not only
improve the taste of your coffee, but also protect the internal components
of the machine. Regular replacement of the Aqua Prima® filter ensures the
removal of chlorine, lead, aluminum, and copper for a better tasting
coffee. It will also reduce the formation of limescale and protect the
Xelsis from the corrosive nature of tap water. The standard 54 ounce water
reservoir can easily be refilled by removing it with the easy-grip handle
and filling it at the kitchen tap.
Solid Construction
The Saeco Xelsis is bathed in a solid stainless steel body for supreme
durability, and let's not forget good looks. The oversized stainless drip
tray allows you to fit various cups under the spouts. Integrated water
tank and bean hopper are easily accessible from the top of the machine,
perfectly complementing the Xelsis’s design.
Easy Cleanup
The patented Saeco Easy Clean System® removable internal brew group has
been tested millions of times throughout the world. It only takes a simple
gesture for it to be quickly and easily removed from the machine and
cleaned. Just rinse it under running water to remove all traces of dirt
and coffee residues, which when left inside the machine, change the flavor
of the coffee and interfere with the correct functioning of the brew
group. This simple cleaning, when done in conjunction with the automatic
descaling, brew group cleaning, and milk cleaning cycles, ensures the
Xelsis will produce consistently delicious espresso every time you turn it
on.
For Use with Superautomatika Blend
It's a little known fact that Super Automatic espresso coffee centers brew
the best coffee when using only a special kind of bean. While it's true
that the Saeco Xelsis an be filled with most kinds of coffee beans, the
greatest flavor and tallest crema are achieved when brewing
Superautomatika Blend, the only coffee crafted specifically for
super-automatic machines. The beans that make up Superautomatika Blend are
picked, roasted, and blended solely for use in super automatic coffee
