Automatic Timer Models - A timer activates and automatically shuts off the coffee grinding process. Mazzer no longer offers the manual version for their fear that someone will forget to leave the grinder on and without beans. Manual switch models are no longer being produced by the factory. Electronic Type B Models - A micro switch in the lower front panel allows the user to select differing amounts of coffee to be ground for both a single and double cup. continuous holding of the micro switch allows continuous grinding.
