For the first time ever, JURA now has a professional-standard, fully automatic espresso and coffee machine designed for the home, and ushers in a new era in coffee-making. Prepare perfect coffee specialties like cappuccino at the touch of a button without even needing to move the cup. The Impressa Z5’s Dual Nozzle System makes it possible  to brew an entire cappuccino or latte with a press of a button. It  will start frothing and/or steaming your milk, grinding, tamping, without moving your cup.

The Impressa Z5 features a solid aluminium front panel with a red-on-black digital display indicating to empty the dump box, refill the 2.8 liter removable water reservoir and when to add more beans. You can also program the strength, temperature, and size of your drink, and using the rotating dial on the top of the machine, with the cappuccino button, you can program the amount of milk that is removed from the external 32oz  thermal milk container.

The Z5 comes with a Clearyl water filter, a Capresso cleaning tablet, a water hardness test strip, a 7 gram coffee scoop, vacuum milk container, Jura caring cloths, Auto Cappuccino cleaner.

This model compared to the Z6, is that the Z5 has a solid aluminum ( mat finish ) front panel and comes with a plastic thermo milk container.

Thermos milk container:
One of the standard features of the IMPRESSA Z5 Aluminum is a high-class thermos milk container. It holds a litre and uses a well-known, tried-and-tested principle to keep the milk cool all day. Its shape is designed to match that of the IMPRESSA Z5.

Rotary switch:
Simply turn and press to navigate your way through the entire range of operating and programming steps while keeping an eye on the graphics appearing on the display. So no matter whether you're selecting coffee strength, adjusting the amount of water or giving your coffee specialities their own names, the rotary switch literally reduces everything to a twist of your wrist.

Operator guidance:
The IMPRESSA Z5 models speaks your language, either in clear text messages or readily understandable graphics. It communicates with you and takes you to your favourite coffee specialities by the shortest and most direct route. The interactive clear text/graphic display guides you swiftly and smoothly through every stage of the program. Give your IMPRESSA Z5 a personal flavour all of its own. In a few simple stages, you can change your greeting text or give coffee specialities a name of their own. It couldn't be more personal or individual

Active bean management:
The IMPRESSA Z5 models puts an end to the sound of empty coffee grinders and half-empty coffee cups once and for all because it tells you in good time when you need to refill the bean container. And it's all made possible by an innovation from JURA: the amount of beans in the container is monitored constantly and as soon as they drop below a minimum level an alert appears on the display.

Ecological intelligence:
The  IMPRESSA Z5 models actively helps you to save energy. With the ESM (Energy Save Mode©), the machine's energy-saving potential can be adjusted entirely to your habits and you can save up to 40 % of the energy normally required. And if you happen to be away for a lengthy period of time, the machine can be disconnected completely from the power supply.

Claris Filter

Claris filter cartridges are placed directly in the water tank. Claris filters reduces scaly deposits in the heating elements. Heavy metals and elements in drinking water that have a detrimental effect on flavour. The filter should be replace after 350 draws or 2 months.

Decalcifying tablets for use with all Jura machines. In order to be most effective in preventing lime scale build up, machines should be decalcify approximately every 3 months.

Milk container/thermos for your Auto-Cappuccino, made of high-quality plastic and has a capacity of 1.5 liter. After use, unplug the connecting piece from the Auto Cappuccino and put the container in the refrigerator.
