The new Impressa S9 Avantgarde espresso machine distinguishes itself both by its state-of-the-art technology, user-friendly control functions and its elegant design. The S9 may well be the first "Plug-and-Play" machine on the market. The IMPRESSA S9 Avantgarde line features two independent stainless steel lined heating systems for coffee preparation and steam production. There is never any downtime between brewing coffee and frothing milk. Two frother systems allow you completely automated or manual controlled steaming and frothing. The extra large 96 oz. water tank makes it the perfect machine for frequent uses. In addition to all of the features of the original Impressa S9, the Impressa S9 Avantgarde includes an override feature also found on its big brother , the Z5. The rotary dial (located in the access door on the bottom front left corner of the machine) allows the user to control coffee strength (how much coffee is used to make your drink) and coffee cup size. Simply adjust the dial while your a la cart drink is brewing, and the Avantgarde will brew to your exact specifications. The rotary dial will override any of the five coffee brewing programmable buttons. That makes the Avantgarde one of the most adaptable coffee makers on the market.
