The Impressa J5 series of automatic coffee
centers from Jura Capresso combines smooth, clean lines with elegant
accents. The Impressa J5 features a platinum nor black metallic treatment for the
front, side and top. Chrome accents and glossy piano white side and back panels
round off this elegant and stylish beauty. It puts Jura Capresso’s
innovative espresso technology at your fingertips with 4 programmable
beverage buttons, an adjustable conical burr grinder, pre-infusion cycle,
coffee strength settings, and more.
The stainless steel-lined thermo block
ensures water is always ready for brewing or steaming, and the 18-bar pump
will get a great extraction from your espresso every time you brew.
Customizing all of the machine’s settings is made easy by the red LED
display, guiding you through programming step-by-step in the language of
your choice. This display will also let you know when you need to refill
the bean hopper or water reservoir, run a descaling cycle, or empty the
used coffee drawer.
All of these functions are programmable. For example, the strength,
temperature, and size of each of the coffee buttons can be set, as can the
amount of water delivered in a hot water cycle, and the amount of time a
steam cycle lasts. On top of the unit are three more controls: two buttons
(one for power, the other for maintenance) and a Rotary control dial for
programming. A convenient, highly readable digital display guides you
through every function in any one of five languages.
