The Jura-Capresso ENA 5 debuts the
world's first rotating coffee spout. the ENA 5 accommodates the
smallest espresso shot glasses, but it does so with its revolutionary
rotating spout. This unique espresso dispensing head has 3 positions:
one spout, two spouts, and cleaning/rinsing. A simple twist of your
wrist is all it takes to make the adjustment.
The
FrothXpress
Plus system (sold separately) helps you to prepare perfect cappuccinos
and lattes cup after cup. It automatically siphons milk from the cold
milk container, combines it with hot steam and delivers hot, frothed
milk into your Cappuccino cups. Turn the dial to the latte setting,
and the frothXpress plus will deliver hot steamed milk with very
little or no froth for that delicious Latte.
The Jura-Capresso ENA 5 saves both
space and energy It ushers in the era of smart power coffee centers
with its Zero Energy Switch and Energy Save Mode. Up until now, Energy
Save Mode was only available on high end Jura-Capresso Impressas and
the ENA 5 can now employ this technology to reduce energy consumption
by up to 40%. The ENA 5 does this by lowering the temperature of the
ThermoBlock boiler during those times when you don't want to turn your
machine off, but you also don't want it running at full steam either.
The Zero Energy Switch allows you to completely disconnect the ENA 5
from the electrical grid without unplugging it.
The Jura Capresso ENA 5 makes understanding your super automatic
machine even easier. A digital display shows different colors for
different situations. If you see green, you're good to go. If you see
red, the ENA 5 going is asking for your attention. If you see yellow,
you're in the middle of one of the many programming features
available. Feel confident that your machine will tell you what it
needs and when it needs it to guarantee optimum performance and
efficiency.
The ENA 5 is a
stainless steel-lined ThermoBlock boiler. Unlike a traditional boiler,
thermoblocks offer rapid warm-up times paired with efficient,
on-demand water usage. The
unique two step pre-infusion cycle moistens and conditions the ground
coffee, which means maximum flavor extraction with perfect crema
topping. The ENA 5's Integrated commercial grade steel conical burr
grinder has six settings which allows you to adjust the fineness for
all kinds of beans - from light to dark roasts. With the ENA 5 you can
brew one to sixteen ounce cups of coffee in two aroma and three
strength settings. It grinds from 5 to a maximum of 16 grams of coffee
from mild to strong. The ENA 5 will automatically discard up to 12
pucks (used coffee portions) before its puck container gets full.
The advanced Clearyl ENA filtration system prevents water impurities
from entering sensitive areas of the machine, causing damage, and
altering the taste of the coffee produced. A change filter message
will be displayed when it is time to replace the cartridge (about
every 6-10 weeks or 14 gallons). The ENA 5 will also prompt you when
it is time to clean the machine, so proper maintenance is a breeze.
Manual frothing and steaming smaller amounts of milk (for one or two
cups) the Dual Frother Plus is fast and easy to use. With settings for
latte (steaming milk) and cappuccino (steaming and frothing milk), you
will be able to prepare your desired beverage in just a short amount
of time. Immerse the Dual Frother PLUS into your milk pitcher and push
the steam button the bring the ENA 5 up to steaming temperature in
about twenty seconds. The ENA 5 will display when it is ready to
steam, and you may even use the Rotary Switch to dial in your desired
steaming time after which it will automatically shut off the steam
allowing you to walk away if you wish.
What is the difference between
the ENA3, ENA 4and the ENA5?
- The handling of all three machines is basically similar.
- ENA5 has a rotating coffee spout and ENA3 and ENA4 have square twin
coffee spout.
