How to use a BRA pressure cooker
Remember that before
using for the first time, the cooker must be washed well in hot water. The
ingredients and water should not take up more than 2/3 of the cooker to
prevent the water from entering the valves and obstructing them. When
cooking delicate vegetable which produces froth, such as salt-wart,
spinach, leeks, peas etc... It is not advisable to fill the cooker more
than 1/3 full of water.
Place
the lid on the body and remove the clamp round horizontal until it fits
under the lateral support.
Screw the knob on in the direction indicated by the arrow, making sure
that the end of the clamp are fitted correctly into place in the lateral
support.
Continue to screw on ( three to our turns ) until you are sure it is
properly closed.

Check to see if the weight is properly placed on it's base.
Place the cooker over a high flame or maximum heat electric plate until
the steam begins to flow from the weight and making it spin, which is a
sign that the pressure has been reached. Reduce the heat sufficiently to
maintain the pressure. If the weight spins excessively, it is a sign that
the heat is to high. if this happen it should be
reduced, as it is a waste of calories.
When the required
cooking time has elapsed, remove the cooker from the heat, take off the
weight until all the steam has been expelled
When the pressure has been reduced, unscrew the knob, turn round the clamp
and remove the lid. The food is cooked and ready to serve.
Attention
Due to the progressive fitting of the silicone joint with the pot,
It is normal that some steam may leak during the first few uses,
until a perfect molding is formed
